For the area of Global CI & Smart Automation located in Lenzing we invite experts to submit applications for the role as Senior Process Control Engineer (Automation | Advanced Process Control | Smart Manufacturing) (m/f/d). The role combines automation engineering, data analytics, and process modeling to drive measurable improvements in plant performance, efficiency, and stability. Responsibilities include developing and deploying advanced process control strategies, optimizing process stability and energy efficiency, standardizing control concepts across global production environments, establishing control performance monitoring and optimization frameworks, applying statistical process control and data analytics, building dynamic and static process models, supporting validation of distributed control systems, providing automation expertise in CAPEX projects, and acting as a global expert and trusted advisor for automation and control engineering. The position requires a degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics, or Mechatronics, several years of experience in process control engineering/automation engineering, advanced process control, industrial production environments, and strong knowledge of process control systems, automation technologies, process modeling, simulation, and statistical process control. The role is based in Austria, Lenzing.
