For the area of Commercial Nonwovens located in Lenzing, Upper Austria, we invite Innovation experts to submit applications for the role as Project Manager Innovation & Application Development (Hygiene & Wipes) (m/f/d) - Maternity Cover.
Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
- Management and coordination of innovation and development projects in the field of hygiene and wipes applications
- Planning, coordination and evaluation of trials in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Translation of technical findings into customer-relevant benefits, product concepts and value propositions
- Support of Sales, Product Management and Technical Customer Service with application know-how and technical expertise
- Identification of market needs and development opportunities for fiber-based hygiene solutions
- Preparation and presentation of project results, technical reports and recommendations
- Collaboration in innovation activities, claim development and intellectual property generation
- Active networking across functions and regions to support efficient project execution and knowledge transfer
Our expectations for this exciting role
- Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Textile Technology, Paper Technology or a related field
- Experience in project management, product development, application development, R&D or technical customer support
- Experience in nonwovens or hygiene applications is considered an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset and structured and independent way of working
- Comfortable working in an international and multidisciplinary environment
- English language skills at B2 level or above, German language skills at A2 level or above
- Please note: the initial expected duration for this position is 12-14 months (possibility for extension following this period)

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4.300.- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
